The Casimir 2019 vintage from Balthazar Franck is an exceptional red wine from the Cornas appellation, in the northern Rhône Valley. Made mainly from the Syrah grape variety, this wine has a dark and deep color, accompanied by complex and intense aromas. On the nose, we discover notes of black fruits, pepper, tobacco and sweet spices. On the palate, the wine is powerful with well-present but balanced tannins, pleasant acidity and a long lingering finish with notes of very ripe red fruits. It is a wine that has a very good aging capacity, which will evolve harmoniously over the years.
