Cornas Empreintes 2016 from Durand Eric and Joël is an exceptional red wine from the Cornas appellation, in the northern Rhône valley. Made mainly from the Syrah grape variety, this wine has a dark and deep color, with intense aromas of black fruits, pepper, liquorice and blackcurrant. On the palate it is rich and powerful, with a nice tannic structure and a long spicy finish. Aging in oak barrels brings subtle notes of vanilla and woodiness that blend harmoniously with the aromatic palette of the wine.
