Les Vieilles Vignes de Cornas 2015 by Alain Voge is a powerful and elegant wine, made from the Syrah grape of the Cornas appellation, located in the northern Rhône valley. This particular vintage reveals intense notes of black fruit, liquorice, black pepper and violet. On the palate, this wine is rich and fleshy, with powerful but silky tannins that accompany a long lingering finish. Aging in oak barrels gives it notes of vanilla and woodiness that blend perfectly with its aromatic complexity.
