Côte-Rôtie La Landonne 2005 from Etienne Guigal is an exceptional red wine from the Côte-Rôtie appellation, in the magnificent Rhône valley. Made from the Syrah grape, this wine is remarkably complex and aromatically rich. On the nose, we discover a panoply of seductive notes, such as aromas of black fruits, liquorice, truffles, violets and spices. On the palate, the wine is ample and powerful, with a silky texture and supple tannins. The finish is long and persistent, with spicy and woody notes, typical of aging in oak barrels.
