Jean-Michel Gerin's Côte-Rôtie Les Grandes Places 2017 is an exceptional red wine from the Côte-Rôtie appellation in the northern Rhône Valley. Made mainly from the Syrah grape, this wine has an intense ruby red color and complex aromas. On the nose, we discover notes of very ripe red fruits, violet, pepper and liquorice. On the palate, this wine is powerful, rich and elegant, with fine and well-integrated tannins. The lingering finish has pleasant spicy and fruity nuances.
