The Côte-Rôtie Les Rochins 2017 from Francois & Fils is a red wine from the famous Côte-Rôtie appellation, in the northern Rhône Valley. Made from the Syrah grape variety, this wine has a deep garnet color and elegant and complex aromas. On the nose, we discover notes of black fruits, violets, spices and pepper, as well as nuances of black olives and vanilla from its aging in barrels. On the palate it is powerful and ample, with silky tannins and a long spicy finish. This promising wine is already pleasant to drink but could prove to be even more complex after a few years of cellaring.
