Pierre Gaillard's Côte-Rôtie Rosé Pourpre 2017 is an exceptional wine from the Côte-Rôtie appellation in the Rhône Valley. Made mainly from the Syrah grape variety, this rosé wine has a beautiful deep pink color and floral and fruity aromas. On the nose, we discover notes of red fruits, peony and rose. On the palate, this rosé is lively, fresh and elegant, with a well-balanced acidity and a slight spicy side. The tannins are fine and the finish is slightly acidic. A wine that goes perfectly with summer dishes and is best enjoyed chilled.
