Tardieu Laurent's Côte-Rôtie 2010 is an exceptional red wine, produced in the eponymous appellation in the northern Rhône Valley, from the Syrah grape variety. This vintage has an intense garnet color and complex aromas of black fruits, violets, truffles and black pepper. On the palate, this wine is powerful, rich and silky, with well-integrated tannins and a long lingering finish. Aging in oak barrels brings subtle nuances of wood, spices and vanilla. This wine is at its peak today but can be kept for several years in the cellar in optimal conditions.
