The 2017 vintage of Pierre Gonon's Saint-Joseph is an exceptional red wine made from the Syrah grape variety, in the Rhône Valley. This wine has an intense purple color with ruby reflections and offers complex and subtle aromas. On the nose, we perceive notes of black fruits, liquorice, sweet spices and violet. On the palate it is elegant, fresh and balanced, with fine, silky tannins and a long lingering finish. This wine is ideal to accompany a wide range of dishes, such as grilled red meats, spicy dishes or aged cheeses.
