Saint-Joseph La Dame Brune 2015 from Domaine Vernay Georges is an exceptional red wine, from the slopes of Saint-Joseph in the northern Rhône Valley. Composed exclusively of Syrah, this vintage offers a sumptuous garnet color and subtle aromas of red and black fruits, violets, spices and liquorice. On the palate, the wine is ample, rich and very balanced, with a nice freshness and well-integrated silky tannins. The finish is long and persistent, leaving a pleasant feeling of minty freshness. This wine can be enjoyed now but will benefit from aging in the cellar.
